My Guest today on the podcast Is James Chang. James grew up in Hong Kong and studied Mathematics at University of Washington and completed his MBA at the Jack Welch Management Institute. He is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration.

 After many years spent in High Tech industriesJames has a business cultivating Microalgae for their nutritional elements. James believes that plant-based food is one of the building blocks to a sustainable future. A building block that is environmentally friendly, highly nutritious and sustainable. Using technology in an environmentally, sustainable way will meet the needs of an ever-growing population in a world of diminishing resources.

4:17 My mother and father came from Shanghai. My father was in the textile business....
6:59 I went to study in the US .... It was an exciting time....Being in a different culture.
9:46 My buddies were talking about things and I had no idea of what they were talking about......I started to watch sitcoms ... It helped me to understand more.

16:46 I took a leap of faith and moved into hydroponics .........This led me to micro-algae
18:46 Food caught my eye ..... micro-algae .....this is going to be a future food. Plant based protein.
21:13. A lot of new Tech businesses come and go. My idea allows us to address several markets.
