My guest on the podcast this week is Janice Wong. Janice is married with two grown up children. Professionally, Janice  is a psychological counsellor based in Hong Kong. With a Masters Degree in Applied Psychology and a further Masters Degree in Counselling., Janice is a life long learner.

Janice runs a counselling company providing private counselling services and counselling workshops. She cooperates with secondary schools and NGOs to provide individual counselling sessions and emotion healthy workshops to teenagers and parents.

Motivated by her experience with her own daughter Janice tells her story of being a "Tiger Mum" who decided to understand more about" Psychology" so she could improve her relationship with her children. Janice shares her insights, experience and actionable advice on how parents may assist their teenagers to navigate the transition from childhood into their teens. She discusses this in the podcast. 

Janice uses different modalities to build confidence and rapport with children and their parents. Ranging from” Art” through to “Lego Play Therapy”. She shares some cases studies of how she connects with Teenagers and their parents in the podcast.
